Catherine Estrada is an Associate Attorney at the Law Office of Bryan Fagan, based in the firm’s San Antonio office. Catherine is a proud graduate of Texas Woman’s University, where she earned her B.A. in Psychology and Criminal Justice in 2006, and went on to receive her Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2010. Her legal career has spanned both public service and nonprofit sectors. Catherine has served as an Assistant District Attorney in Hidalgo County, representing Child Protective Services and handling civil commitments and protective orders. She later served as an Assistant Attorney General IV, representing the State of Texas in child support enforcement and paternity cases. During her time at Legal Aid of Northwest Texas, she provided critical legal services to victims of domestic violence, handling divorces, adoptions, modifications, and protective orders. Most recently, as an Assistant Public Defender IV, Catherine represented both parents and children in CPS cases and was appointed as an amicus attorney in contested family law matters. Catherine is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and has dedicated her career to advocating for families and children. Born in Florida and raised in San Antonio, she has also lived in Denton, Edinburg, and Dallas. She is passionate about serving her community and inspired by her father’s nonprofit, AYA, which supports young people battling cancer. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her three sons, gardening, watching court TV, and taking road trips to the river or beach. She shares her home with two beloved dogs, Cece and Bear. Described by friends as strong-willed, kind, reliable, and trustworthy, Catherine attributes her compassion and patience to motherhood. She has aspirations to become Board Certified in Family Law and dreams of taking a cross-country road trip with her sons. Catherine brings both personal warmth and professional dedication to every client she serves.
