Originally from Namibia, Lynette’s journey has taken her from South Africa, where she completed her education in law, to the United States, where she has built a remarkable professional legacy. She holds a BA in Law from the University of Stellenbosch and an LLB (equivalent to a JD) from the University of the Witwatersrand. Lynette has been admitted to practice law in Colorado, Washington state, and most recently, Texas.
With 19 years of experience managing a boutique family law litigation firm in Washington state, Lynette is a dedicated advocate for her clients, particularly in high-conflict divorces involving complex asset divisions. She brings a passion for justice, fairness, and protecting vulnerable members of society to her work. Her involvement in pro bono programs reflects her commitment to giving back, assisting indigent clients with family law matters.
Beyond her professional achievements, Lynette is a woman of diverse talents and interests. She began her studies as a concert pianist before discovering her calling in law. A passionate wildlife photographer, she travels frequently to Southern Africa to capture the beauty of its wildlife, with a particular fondness for cheetah conservation.
